I would like to confirm my understanding that the England team for its biggest match since the World Cup, at home, consists of a 4-5-1 formation. I would also like confirmation that the reports are correct in asserting that the outstanding lone striker playing up front is the immensely talented Peter Crouch (reported in an alternative universe more accurately as, "reports assert that the standing about lone stinker wandering aimlessly up front is the immense Peter Crotch, which is where SWP reaches on him") . What a courageous move, to play for a draw at best.
As usual, the Keystone Cop Duo of Lampard and Gerard will dominate midfield, whilst trying to avoid injuring each another. Other than Derby, I would think that any Premiership team should be able to beat tonight's England team at least 8 out of 10 times. Does Mclaren not like his job? Is he trying to be fired? How much money does he have on him being fired? Was he involved in Diana's assasination? Or just JFK's?

Whatever happened to Annapolis?
I am struggling to comprehend what the two democratic attendees at Annapolis think will be of benefit to them. In fact I am struggling to think of any way that it will not actually do damage to countries and citizens of America and Israel.
Starting with Israel, the threat today and tomorrow, is existential, to both Israel and to Judaism. Perhaps, it is not clear to all how attached Jews are to Jerusalem. After their exile by the Romans, Jews yearned daily in prayer for nearly 2,000 years to return to Zion, and specifically Jerusalem. Somehow, after a third of their poor numbers were wiped out again, they yet managed to eke out a foothold in their ancestral homeland even though Transjordan (artificially created by the British in1923 as a pay-off to the Hashemites) seized the traditional Jewish quarter of Jerusalem. The traditional Jewish quarter of over 3,000 years was ethnically cleansed of Jews, and is the area which the media now refer to as “Arab East Jerusalem”. Judaism’s holiest site could only be seen by Jews after paying a fee to nuns who would then allow entry to a tower which could look upon part of the Western Wall. 58 synagogues were razed and gravestones of Jews were used to pave latrines. Then, in 1967, with the threat of the second Holocaust of the 20th century upon them, the Jewish wish of ages came true. To give this up now is incomprehensible. If there was a genuine chance of peace, then perhaps one could make the argument that a path should be followed that leads to relinquishing your 2000 year old dream. Unfortunately, Arafat continued the poisoning of the next Arab generation, and no chance of peace exists at this time. A poison concocted in its most virulent forms by Hajj Amin al Husayni (the pro Nazi Mufti of Jerusalem) and Nasser. Arabs do not even accept that there is a Jewish relationship to the site, and the Waqf which controls the Muslim area, has continued to wreak archeological devastation upon the Temple Mount in the past 40 years. As we have seen in Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Turkey and many other places that Muslim armies have conquered at one time, the temples and holy relics of other religions are destroyed, and replaced with their own.
The abandonment of Jerusalem will commit the remnant of the Jewish people to destruction, because if you cannot hold on to your only great treasure then there is no future. This places Israel’s destruction as the end game of living Jewish history.
The path being taken has already been trodden. When Arafat was strengthened in order to do a peace deal it did not work out very well. Barak withdrew from Lebanon, and Israel suffered the horrors of Hezbollah in 2006. Sharon withdrew Jews from Gaza, and terrorism is elected and advances. And now, Olmert wants to withdraw from the heartland of Jewish history to undefensible lines. He wishes to rely on the word of an impotent Holocaust denier, who cannot deliver any measure of peace. And even if somehow an agreement is reached with Abbas, on the basis that Jerusalem is divided and locations of Jewish history become Judenrein, there are Iran and their allies waiting with nuclear weapons. There is no peace to be had, and all these actions are doing are making it impossible for Israel to defend itself when the onslaught comes again.
In the meantime, the atmosphere in Europe and the pseudo-intellectuals at universities around the world is one of hatred of Jews. When Israel falls, as it will if these actions are followed through, not only will the Jewish faith cease to exist, but those of Jewish descent will once again be left without a protector and fall prey to those psychotic haters. There will be nothing and no one left in the haters’ way to prevent the physical annihilation of Jews. Unfortunately, the legacy of the names of Olmert, Peres and Livni, will be one of curse for any Jews that survive in the coming millennia.
The fact that many Jewish families are demanding that they split into those who live in Israel, and some who remain outside in order to carry on the line, should be a telling indictment of what is happening. The current way will lead to the end of Jews.

There is a supposedly a war on terror, yet America is forcing Israel to agree to a gutting with the successor to the creator of global terror. Abbas has no ability to sign an agreement that will hold. Gaza is now a terrorist enclave, as predicted by all who do not trust terrorists to become good citizens. Ridding a couple of thousand of square miles of Jews from the millions of square miles governed by the oildom dictatorships will not result in thanks from the jihadis, it simply emboldens them. This will not stop Iran gaining nuclear weapons, and passing them off to terrorist groups for plausible deniability. Unfortunately, it will show the Arab world that hateful intransigence and terror gains all the rewards that it seeks, except for the 70 virgins. Succumbing to the venal desires of the Arab nations gathering for the conference, of which there is not a single democracy amongst them, will result in a longer, harder and bloodier war for America. One in which its civilians will bear significant casualties in the coming years.
If there is a peace deal, what does America gain? It does not gain anything economically, since it cannot stop supplying aid to the PA or Egypt. It has, and continues, to supply aid even whilst it is being diverted to fund terrorism. Same for the EU. A peace deal would undoubtedly entail the creation of another dictatorship of theocratic bent, and after creating one in Gaza, do democracies really need another one?
As for the jihadis, a “peace” deal will give them all that they seek today. They have a Palestinian people recognized as an Arab, and predominantly Muslim, entity. They will have given up nothing and yet they will be rewarded with floods of aid and armanents. They will have a stranglehold across a 10 mile neck of their hated enemy. Their schools will have taught another generation a perverted psychotic history that tells them that in time, they will be able to kill the Jews in the shrunken cage and seize the last few remaining dunams. The jihadis will be able to proclaim to their more timid co-religionists that their way has triumphed again, and that it is only a matter of time before further lands fall under the banner of the crescent. There is no downside for the jihadis, since a failure of peace deal being achieved will be blamed upon Israel by the media and Europe. The jihadis will claim indisputable human rights for their cause, whilst espousing a lack of human rights for all that they rule and do not accept as being true to their understanding. No peace deal will also mean that the jihadis have stayed true to their ideals. They have nothing to lose by taking what they are given now, and nothing to lose if nothing is given today.

None, it delays shortly the next attack upon Israel that will be funded by Israel and the Western nations themselves, as they build up the next Arab state. It does nothing to inhibit Iran’s nuclear weapon ambitions and makes it easier for them to aim for Jews in a crowded area. Jihadis are encouraged to continue their wars, and see that their prayers are answered.
So where does that leave us? The “peace” alliances who have usurped the term will denounce Israel and America because they have not appeased today’s totalitarians. There is no choice but to confront the evil sooner rather than later. This is not because we are for war, but the alternative is a greater war within a decade. This is the 1930’s.
